Wild Skills Parties
Come to Honeybrook for a 2 or 4 hour session of bushcraft & fun in the woods. Parties can be tailored to your needs, & are available after school on week-days.
Honeybrook is a fantastic venue for Corporate Events, Christmas Parties and Private Celebrations throughout the year.
We are also fully licensed for alcohol & have a catering team on site. We have lots of rooms & sites available for various daytime or evening functions.

We can provide catering
for your event at Honeybrook, for example Hog Roast, BBQ, sit down dinner prepared by our restaurant The Wonky Goose, or light teas, cakes & refreshments, whatever you fancy!
Plus we have a license to serve alcohol, another thing you don't have to worry about, so we can run a licensed bar at your event.
All meat is supplied by our own High Lea Butchers.
Evening BBQ &
Guided Bat Walk
Honeybrook is hosting an evening BBQ & bat walk on 20th August, with our friends from Dorset Bat Group & Dorset Bat Rescue. The evening will start at 8pm, with a chance to meet some 'ambassador bats,' a yummy BBQ & an evening stroll around the farm with our bat detectors to listen out for bats, & learn more about these wonderful little creatures. Head out from the farmyard on the NEW exciting adventure Play Trail to explore the far reaching corners of Honeybrook Farm. A mystery awaits around every corner as you ramble along beautiful riverside walks and climb, run and jump your way towards the next exhilarating challenge. Regular Pets Corner sessions offer a chance to give some of our animals a pet and a groom! We also have two cows who are milked daily in the parlour, come and see how it's done.
The indoor Soft Play Area is terrific fun and very popular with the kids is perfect for when the rains are about and there is seating too. It also holds the new Ice Cream Parlour for all manner of sweetie goodness. With fresh scoop and Mr whippy ice-creams, popcorn, candyfloss, toffee apples & lots more.
Fun for the bigger kids includes Flying Fox zip wire, Buccaneer Towers, Trojan Horse, massive climbing structures with slides & lots more all on sand for safe landings. Plus Tots’ Playground for the little ones.
Our Splash Pad on the Village Green is designed and built especially for Honeybrook. Great fun on those sunny Summer days or equally a real giggle with wellies and waterproofs.

A beautiful semi-natural pond close to the river. Surrounded by trees, it is a great place for wildlife exploration & serves as a peaceful haven away from the hustle-bustle of the main farmyard.
A natural chalk stream with its own strain of brown trout as well as wild rainbow trout, grayling, pike & crayfish. With luck you may see kingfishers, egrets, cormorants, heron, otters & water voles too.
Are you pony mad? Then visit Honeybrook and make friends with our lovely ponies of all shapes, sizes and colours. We offer pony rides for children aged 3+ during school holidays! Please call ahead (01202 881120) to avoid disappointment

Our famous and traditional tea rooms are open throughout the day, serving classic cream teas plus tasty sandwiches and fresh slices of our home made cakes.

Wild Skills taster days at Honeybrook Farm, you can come and have a go at everything from making fires to building shelters. Everything you need will be suppled and there is no need to book.
If you find you enjoy the taster days you can book onto one of our wild skills courses that take place in one of various locations on the Gaunts Estate. These sessions go into more detail about about Wild Skills subjects.
Wild Skills encourages learning by hands on activities, each activity is classed as a module with some modules building upon others. When the program and all modules are completed the final step is a ‘camp out’.
Each module will take place on the Gaunts Estate utilising various locations depending on the module and or weather, though the primary location will be the Triangle Copse and Granary on Honeybrook Farm
Come to Honeybrook for a 2 hour or 4 hour session of bushcraft and fun in the Wild Skills Den and Camp. Learn how to light a campfire the old fashioned way, build a shelter to protect you from the elements and toast some marshmallows!
Parties can be tailored to your needs, from a minimum of 2 hours and have a maximum of 10 children. All Wild Skills parties include a tractor ride to the location.

Foraging, trapping, fishing and preparing things to eat
Module 2: Shelter
Shelter building using locally available natural materials
Module 3: Fire
Making fire using friction, spark sticks, pistons, matchers, lighters
Module 4: Water
Finding, collecting and purifying water for drinking
Module 6: Cooking
Cooking on fire, building and using camp ovens and other cooking techniques
Module 7: Navigation
Map reading with compass
and using natural clues to determine direction
Module 8: Tracking
Identifying prints and observing clues to animals

Our rangers and several of our staff are First Aid trained. First Aid points at restaurant and reception.
In the event of an accident, please contact the Restaurant, Café or the nearest ranger.
No smoking around buildings, animal pens or play areas. Please dispose of your butts appropriately.
To discourage wasps, we have limited rubbish bins & encourage visitors to take their litter home.
Honeybrook is a working farm so please supervise your children at all times.
We are open every day from 10am to 5pm and until 6pm in the summer. Dogs welcome on leads.

Honeybrook Season Pass
A Honeybrook Farm Season Pass allows a family to visit as often as they like with free parking and unlimited entry from mid Feb to the end of October.
A pass is a also a perfect gift, they can be purchased
here or over the phone and exchanged for a full season pass ready for you to collect on your next visit.
